2013-14 VMHA Registration is still OPEN for returning players and also now open for new players!
Please note that registration for the 2013-14 season is now open for returning and new players. Those players from other municipalities who played with us for the 2012-13 season must first contact their home associations to register or be wait-listed there.
This year, all registration must be completed
on-line. You can choose to pay on-line by credit card, or by cheque, but the registration must be submitted on-line. If this is completely impossible for you, then please contact the
registrar for assistance.

Registration Instructions

Players must reside in one of the following Jurisdictions to be eligible to register with Victoria Minor Hockey: City of Victoria, City of Esquimalt, Town of View Royal or the Municipality of Oak Bay.

Please be sure to choose the correct option for registration. You will notice that we have FEMALE-SPECIFIC options (please choose this option if you are a female choosing a female team as your primary team), and GOALIE-SPECIFIC options available this season. Please be sure to choose the category that suits the player best. Females who wish to be dual-rostered may request that option once the season has begun and we will do our best to accommodate the request depending on available space.
Payment Information
Everyone must register
on-line, and we encourage you to pay on-line by credit card. We are again offering a
monthly installment option for credit card payment: lump sum of 1/3 of total payment due upon registration, with the remainder split into 5 equal monthly payments starting April 1st and ending August 1st.
If you still prefer to pay by cheque, you must pay 1/2 the basic registration fee, plus the $100 fundraising fee upon registration, with the remainder due via post-dated cheque on or before Aug. 1st.
Payable to: Victoria Minor Hockey Association (please do
not make it out to VMHA).
PLEASE NOTE that if you are paying by CHEQUE, you may NOT use the installment payment option. Payment is as stated at the beginning of this paragraph.
Tryout, development fees, and camps are paid in full right away.
Rep tryout fee is only $50 per player. The rep tryout fee covers all ice as well as any additional ice that may be obtained for the various tryout divisions. The tryout fee also covers costs such as independent assessors, and use of jerseys.
Early Registration Incentive!
Your early registration helps us plan a better season for you, so we would like to provide you with an incentive to register early! If you register
on-line,
pay on-line with your credit card (in full or by installments), and
submit your utility bill to the registrar by email (scanned or photographed and legible) by March 1, 2013 at midnight, you will be entered into a draw to win a
free registration for the 2013-2014 hockey season (excluding the $100 fundraising fee). Draw will take place at our AGM in April.
All basic program pricing below includes a $100 fundraising fee, which you will have the opportunity to recoup through our fall association-wide fundraiser

Returning players please either scan (or photograph) and email a current utility bill, to
registrar@victoriaminorhockey.ca, or show it in-person at one of our upcoming registration evenings (see below for dates and locations), or drop it off at, or mail to Victoria Minor Hockey Association, c/o Archie Browning Arena, 1151 Esquimalt Rd., Victoria BC V9A 3N6, Attention: Registrar. Documents can be left at the front desk if it is open, or put in the VMHA office mail slot. The office is located in the top left hand corner of the rink.
New players please follow instructions in the paragraph above, but you must also submit a copy of the player's birth certificate.
Residential Waivers:
If you live outside of these municipalities and have been waitlisted by your home association, please contact them to request a residential waiver to transfer to Victoria Minor Hockey (assuming we have space available). Contact our
registrar for further details.
